Who Is Cindy St.Vil?

Cindy St.Vil was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti in 1982. Arriving in America at age 4, with her parents and sister, she moved to Brooklyn, NY, where she currently resides. Now she is pursuing her B.S in Interdisciplinary Studies, at Nyack College Alliance And Theological Seminary, in Manhattan, NY.

Cindy accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and personal savior when she was 15yrs. old. At age 13 she began to drink alcohol. By the time she was 14, she was a drug dealer and user. It was then that her mother decided to send her back to Haiti, and enrolled her in a Christian Academy. What Cindy thought was going to be the end of her life turned out to be the beginning of life eternal. Receiving an invitation to church one day, she attended service and heard a rhema word that led her to salvation. It was then that she met Jesus at the altar and accepted him as her Lord and Savior. The Lord instantaneously delivered her from drugs and alcohol. Upon her acceptance of the Lord, she was baptized with water and later received the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Her parents were amazed at the miraculous change and decided to send her back to New York City to pursue her schooling. “God has a special plan for you, Cindy,” is what her mother once told her.

Cindy is now a faithful member in Pentecostal Church, Brooklyn Miracle Temple, who’s Sr. Pastor is Rev. Jimmy Talton. Leading praise & worship, singing with the Praise Team, the Choir, active in the youth ministry and being a part of the Intercessory Prayer Team, shows that she is devoted to the ministry. She also has a unique music ministry where she ministers to many through gospel rap. She started singing and writing when she was 9yrs. old. In addition to song writing, she writes plays, musicals, sitcoms, movies and cartoon shows, for the winning of souls and the glory of God. She takes her ministry very seriously and is a no non-sense person. She is one who is devoted to serving the Lord. “Whatever God tells me to say, I’ll say,” she says. “Whatever He instructs me to do, I’ll do, and wherever He tells me to go, I’ll go. If the Lord sees fit for me to go forth and pursue this [animation] vision now, I am not going to delay and miss the timing of God.”

Her mission is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the creativity that’s been deposited in her. “God is holding me accountable for all that he has invested in me. He is coming back for a return and He wants it with interest,” she says, “therefore I have to pursue the vision that He has given me. I am determined to do my part so that I will in no way prevent God from doing His.” Her goal is to compel the unsaved young people to come to Jesus and accept him as their Savior. She wants to show them that their life will not begin until they die to sin and surrender to Christ. She also has a desire to reach the young people in the body of Christ, so that they can begin to pursue the vision that God has given them. And so, with much prayer, consecration, and steadfastness, she is headed straight towards her divine destiny.

Iris Hoskins Bio

Iris Hoskins was first introduced to media through her learning experience at Edward R. Murrow High School, a Brooklyn school, well known for its curriculum in television and the arts. She fell in love with the major media and began devoting herself to learn all there is to know about different types of media. From television, to radio, to print Iris became familiar with the technology, theory and the lingo of media. She furthered her education and received an Associates in Communications and at Kings borough Community College in Brooklyn NY. There she focused on television, radio and print. Iris later went for her Bachelors in Media Studies at Hunter College in Manhattan NY, where she narrowed her focus to journalism.

Iris completed school June 2002 and she is now working a day job while trying to pursue her writing career. In the past she has worked on projects such as “Glorious News”, a church newsletter that she put out each month for over 2 years. She had an internship with an independent producer, which she spent 6 months learning how to produce shows. She was also an intern with RNN news station, for six months, where she worked closely with the news producers. She wrote articles for Our Time Press newspaper. And her passionate letter to Essence magazine got published in the issue.

Growing up in church, Iris was always interested in Gospel Entertainment. The problem she saw was that her interest was not seen enough in the media. She decided that she wanted to make it her career to bring Gospel Entertainment to the world through all forms of media. Right now she is working on making it happen.
